Our Story
Southern Gunite Inc. Was founded in 2011 with a commitment to delivering high-quality gunite work built to last- but our story begins long before that.
Our founder, Steve, began working in the Gunite industry at just 19 years old in Texas. After relocating to Florida, he worked alongside Mr. Mahoney, where he quickly became a trusted second-in-command. During that time, he learned every aspect of the business- from fieldwork to operations – building a foundation of knowledge that would shape his future.
When Mr. Mahoney retired, Steve set out to build his own legacy. With decades of hands on experience and a deep understanding of the industry, Southern Gunite was established.
Today, we continue to carry that same standard forward — combining experience, precision, and a strong work ethic to deliver reliable, long-lasting results across every project.
